F Block, Okara; September 2023: Last year, opponents filed an application against the minarets and niche of Ahmadiyya place of worship. Ahmadis covered the view by raising the boundary wall.
Now, the opponents again started their campaign on social media against the Ahmadiyya worship place and threatened with procession for destroying the minaret and niche on September 27, 2023.
Opponents took out their rally comprising around 2500 people. The police cordoned off the roads leading to the Ahmadiyya place of worship. The participants protested against the police on this move. The matter seems to have cooled down for the time being.
