District Vehari; October 2022: Anti-Ahmadi activities continue in District Vehari. Following three hostile incidents took place at different locations in the District:
- A mulla in Chak No. 475/EB uses foul language against Ahmadis every morning. He is associated with a religious organization.
- Similarly, in Chak No. 163/WB, a series of anti-Ahmadi speeches were made by mullas invited from elsewhere, because the Numberdar (the village chief) of this village is an Ahmadi.
- An Ahmadi teaches in a government school in Chak No. 363/EB. The opposition is trying to force her to resign, so as to fill the post by a ‘Muslim’ teacher. The opponents are using different tactics for this; they are also seeking help from a notorious politico-religious organization.
