Silanwali, District Sargodha; March 2022: Mr. Abdul Aziz, Ahmadi, has a property here, which he rented out to the medical college. The mullas have been protesting against this for some time now. Majlis Tahaffuze Khatme Nabuwwat complained to the Town Committee that Qadianis were going to construct a place of worship there. The administration promptly sealed the said property on mullas’ demand.
Mullas then approached the WAPDA office and demanded that the electricity meter installed there be removed. They also invited mullas from Sargodha to join them in this drive.
Mr. Aziz contacted the concerned office to get the construction plan approved but they hesitated saying that they were under pressure from the mullas.
A higher office, however, has promised to do the needful.
