Father of 3 is gunned down in his store by unidentified assailants on 14th July 2014.

Muhammad Imtiaz Ahmad , son of Mushtaq Ahmad Tahir of Nawabshah was martyred on July 14 2014 at the age of 39 years leaving behind his wife Jamila Imtiaz Sahiba and three sons; Jazib age ten years, Abdul Kauser age nine years and Muhammad Abdullah Umar age seven months.

It is reported that around 4:30pm some unidentified assailants arrived at his store on their motorbike and shot him to death. According to the reports received Muhammad Imtiaz was standing outside his store in Nawabshah City’s Trunk Bazar when two unknown motorbike riders approached and fired their weapons at him and fled. They fired three bullets, of which two penetrated the right side of his head and exited from behind his left ear. The third bullet struck his hand. He was martyred there and then.

Reports mention that two or three days prior to this unfortunate incident the deceased was informed by a local shopkeeper that some opponents were conspiring against him and that he should stay alert.

“At the time of his passing Muhammad Imtiaz Ahmad sb was serving as president of his local area, Secretary of Tehrik-e-Jadid, secretary Islah-o-Irshad of the city and was also serving as the local Qaid Khuddamul Ahmadiyya. He was always ready to do whatever work was given to him to do for the Jama’at. He would carry out all such duties with great care and diligence. He was a great host and would take great care of the guests from the centre and possessed a very strong love for Khilafat. He possessed an extraordinary passion for obedience and offered all of his daily prayers and Tahajjud prayers. He always spoke with a soft tongue and possessed a cool temperament and was ever ready to forgive.”
