55/2-L, District Okara; September 26, 2023: The opponents here demanded demolition of the niche of the local Ahmadiyya mosque. When the police sent for the Ahmadiyya administration, they told the police that the mosque stood there before the independence of Pakistan. On the night of September 26, some unidentified miscreants, however, attacked the Ahmadiyya mosque in the dark. They attempted to destroy the niche but could only demolish it partially. The mosque does not have any minarets.
