Baidadpur Virkan, District Sheikhupura; September 24, 2023: In the backdrop of TLP’s protest in front of DPO Office Sheikhupura on August 28, and their ultimatum to destroy the minarets of Ahmadiyya mosque in the district by 11 Rabi-ul-Awwal, the police had so far defiled 5 Ahmadiyya mosques in the district.
On September 24, during dark hours, the police destroyed the minarets of the Ahmadiyya mosque of Baidadpur Virkan. This mosque was also built before the anti-Ahmadiyya ordinance of 1984. Despite the verdict of the honorable High Court, the police undertook this enormity, afraid of TLP activists.
