Two Ahmadiyya graves vandalized

Kasraan, District Attock; April 12, 2024: Unidentified miscreants destroyed two gravestones in Ahmadiyya graveyard, and partially damaged others.

In Eid ul Fitr sermon, a local religious leader spoke against the Ahmadi community. He said that Ahmadis were not allowed to practice Islam (sic) according to the Constitution of Pakistan. He accused them of writing Kalima in their places of worship and graveyards, which he claimed was forbidden. He urged Muslims to monitor and oppose such actions. We will make every possible effort to guard the honour of the Prophethood and the belief in the end of the Prophethood, he added. Worshippers supported this with slogans and the follow-up action thereafter.
