Samanabad, District Faisalabad; September 2022: Mr. Abdul Hanan used to work in a private insurance company in Samanabad, District Faisalabad. He was an efficient worker, so another company invited him to join in a senior position. He did that, but his colleagues became jealous and proceeded to harass him on basis of faith.
Applications were filed against him in Sargodha city and Jhal Chakian police stations that Abdul Hanan is an Ahmadi and preaches his faith.
His ex-colleagues are among the complainants against him, and a follower of mulla Akram Toofani of Jhal Chakian filed another petition. He is liable to be booked under blasphemy laws by the police.
Under overwhelming stress, he decided to disappear.
