Sillanwali, District Sargodha; June 2022: Mr. Qamar Abbas, a proselyte is facing great animosity from his family. His wife and children were taken away from him. After two months, his brothers called him to the village and told him to repent by laying hands on the Quran. They tortured him when he refused to revert back. Qamar’s wife was forced to abort her three-month pregnancy.
Afterward, the mulla declared him an infidel and threatened him with murder. Qamar had to flee from the town.
