Sambrial, District Sialkot; July 2023:
Jawad Ahmad Farooqi and Advocate Qaisar Sahi submitted an application to the Assistant Commissioner Sambrial in which they stated that Ahmadis had established a place of worship in Mohallah Kumharan, Sambrial where they have constructed a niche which is against the law and the Constitution (sic). This shows its resemblance to a mosque, there is thus anger and fury among Muslims, which can disrupt the peace, they alleged. The complaint concluded with an implicit threat; they demanded the authorities destroy the niche to maintain law and order.
