60-Year-Old Man Shot in His Own House
Daud Ahmad Sahib, son of Haji Ghulam Mahi-Uddin Sahib of Karachi was martyred on 24th May 2016 at the age of 60.
Daud Sahib was waiting outside his house for a friend when two unknown motorists drove past and started spraying bullets at him. Nearby pedestrians rushed to help him. However, they too became the targets of these assailants. After they fled the scene, Daud Sahib was brought to hospital where he underwent an operation. Due to his intestines being severely damaged and severe blood loss, Daud Sahib passed away during the operation.
The injured pedestrians are now better by the grace of God Almighty.
Huzoor-e-Aqdas (may Allah strengthen his blessed hand) mentions in his Friday sermon on 27th May 2016:
“Daud Sahib possessed many qualities; he was an honest, kind-hearted and virtuous person. When investigators were investigating the case they received the same response from everyone that Daud Sahib had no feuds with anyone, rather, he helped everyone. He was at the forefront of Jama’ati works and his house served as a salat centre for 18 years.”
