Qamar-U-Zia son of Muhammad Ali of Sialkot was martyred on the 1st of March 2016

Qamar-U-Zia Sahib locked up his shop and went home to collect his kids from school. He had just left when two attackers grabbed him, dragged him across the street and stabbed him several times with a knife. He suffered wounds on his chest, shoulders, heart and neck. He passed away there and then leaving behind his father, wife and three children.

Qamar Sahib was serving as Secretary Islah-O-Irshad at the time of his demise. He was also a Musi.

Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V (atba) mentioned in his Friday sermon on   4th March 2016,

“Qamar Sahib possessed many characteristics. He was pious and pure hearted. He was extremely sincere, devoted and brave young adult. He would always be ready to serve the central guests and was at the forefront of serving the jama’at. His brother mentions how he would always organise facilities for prayers in general, however the Friday prayer specifically. Non-Ahmadis would see him and say if a Mirzai closes his store to offer the Friday prayer then so should we. This wasn’t the only time he had faced oppression, rather, he faced it on many occasions.”
