168 Murad, District Bahawalnagar; September 2023: There is an ongoing hate campaign here against the Ahmadiyya community and situation is getting worse by the day. Threats were being issued to demolish the minaret and niche of the Ahmadiyya worship place.
On August 6, 2023, around 11:00 pm, the opponents attacked Ahmadiyya worship place and tried to demolish the minaret. An FIR was registered against unknown persons. On the night between 15 and 16 September 2023, TMA employees in civilian clothes demolished the minaret under the supervision of the police. A call was immediately made to 15 so that the matter could be recorded. The police had also blocked all the ways leading towards the Ahmadiyya worship place so that no video could be made.
