Jaurianwala, District Hafizabad; April 2024: There is only one Ahmadi household in this village. For the last few weeks, the local mulla has been busy inciting the people against the Ahmadis. “These people deserve to be killed (Wajib ul Qatl), and it is rewarding (in the Hereafter) to kill them,” he said. He targeted them again in his Friday sermon on 26th April. Subsequently, a crowd assembled at the Ahmadi’s house. They expressed anti-Ahmadiyya rage and sentiments there. In these circumstances, the family called the police, who rescued them from the crowd and took them to the police station.
The victims are now residing temporarily elsewhere with relatives.
