Mandi Bahauddin, September 27, 2023: The police registered a criminal case against 8 named Ahmadis and 30 unnamed under sections 298-B and 298-C in FIR Nr. 1436 in P.S. Civil Lines, on September 27, 2023, for building their place of worship with minarets on the premises of Shahtaj Sugar Mills.
The worship place was built in 1970, 14 years before the promulgation of the infamous Ordinance.
If declared guilty, they could be imprisoned for 3 years
Registration of this case against 30 unnamed Ahmadis in addition shows the malafide nature of the complaint.
