Rawalpindi; August 30, 2022: Unidentified miscreant tried to set Ahmadiyya mosque on Murree Road on fire with petrol, at around 12:30 a.m. However, he did not succeed in the attempt.
The matter was reported to the police. So the police inspected the site on 13 September 2022, and examined the nearby streets, and made enquiries from the neighborhood and the shopkeepers. The senior police officers showed adequate concern with the attempted arson.
