Ghoghyat, District Sargodha; June 3, 2022: Earlier, police destroyed Ahmadis’ gravestones here. On June 3, 2022 the local administration along with the police took away ‘Mashallah’ plates from the front walls of three Ahmadis’ houses. Ahmadis felt harassed and wronged.
In the same context, the police demanded recorded evidence that the minaret and niche of the Ahmadiyya mosque were built prior to 1984, otherwise threatened their destruction.
This attitude of the local authorities is highly sectarian and discriminatory against a small harmless community.
