Bhiri Shah Rehman, District Gujranwala; March 2023: As in other cities of Pakistan, anti-Ahmadiyya activities continue here, which have been gaining push for some time. Anti-Ahmadiyya clerics have been invited to local mosques to promote boycotts against Ahmadis; some local shopkeepers have been forced to vacate shops, and other traders have been barred from trading with Ahmadis. Anti-Ahmadiyya rallies also go on.
Two Ahmadi students were expelled from a private school here allegedly for insulting Islam. Moreover, Ahmadi students were targeted and harassed during a lecture on Islamiyat in the government school.
